These are some pic's from back in May when my friends Jessica and Issa came to visit me from Michigan in California and we had lots of fun! We went to Six Flags/Marine World, San Fran, Monterey Bay Aquarium, hung out, watched movies, went shopping, went out to eat, and just did lots and had lots of fun! We also met some cute guys and took pic's of them and got some sleeping pic's too, haha! :)

Been busy...

Yep, I've been keeping busy with work and I'm enjoying work for the most part of it! I work at Polo Ralph Lauren and Justice, two stores at the Park City outlets. It's about a 30 to 40 minute drive there with all the construction and what not, but it's not as bad as some of my co workers that come from farther, so I'm glad that I live closer. Works going good and I'm learning lots of new stuff and having fun and enjoying my co workers! Working retail isn't that bad, I actually like working it and I have fun people to work with and meet lots of different people from all over the world, so that's cool too! When I'm not working at either place, I'm usually hanging out with my nieces and nephews and helping with them. Other than that, I haven't been doing much or hanging out with friends, been too busy. Well, hope all is going well with everyone and have a great day and take care! :)

Job

I have good news about the job searching, I've got a part time job at Polo Ralph Lauren in Park City at the outlets, yeah! It's about 10 to 20 hours a week, so I'm still looking for another pt job, to make it full time hours, but it's a start. Plus I've been having interviews all week and some next week, so I've been out in Park City a lot. Tried to schedule them close together, but it seems like every place wants to interview at like 2 pm or 3 pm each day, so I'm out there pretty much every day, but it's about 15 to 20 min. drive without the construction, which they've had going on every once in a while when I drive on the freeway and that road is patrolled by so many cops, that it's not smart to speed, plus I don't want any tickets, so I'm good driving the speed limit, hehe! Well, I've got a couple interviews tomorrow, so gotta go get ready for those and get to bed soon, but just wanted to do a quick update, nighty night! Hopefully I can post some pictures soon, it's been a while and I keep meaning to, but not doing it. Have a great weekend and take care! :)

It's been a while...quick update!

Yep, it's been a few months since I've updated my blog, kind of slacking on that, hehe! Well, I've been living in Heber, Utah for the summer helping my sister and her family out as a nanny/housekeeper/mother's helper and been keeping busy! My sister has four kids, an almost 9 year old, almost 6 year old, 3 year old, and a 9 month old, all so cute and full of energy and keeps me busy! After the summer I'm hoping to stick around Utah and work, but haven't had much chances to look for jobs cause I've been too busy watching the kids and helping out, hopefully things slow down some, so that I can get out and find a job soon! Also haven't had much of a social life or hung out with friends much either, but hoping that changes soon, miss having fun with friends and hanging out! I love my nieces and nephews, but sometimes you just need a break or some time to myself! If I don't find a job out here in Utah, then I'll probably go back to Cali and try again to find a job out there, hopefully something works out soon! We've been having decent weather here, some days just perfect, others too hot to be outside or too crazy thunderstorms and windy! Nothing too exciting is going on in my life right now, just kind of the same stuff, so I don't have much to blog about. Hopefully I can get some more pic's up soon. Well, gotta go for now, but hopefully I'll be able to post again soon. Have a great day and take care! :)

Easter 2009

Here's some pic's from Easter, it's been a while since I've updated, so here you go! There's pic's of me, one of Amy, pretty flowers and plants from the front and back yards, silly eggs and colorful eggs, enjoy! I have this little digital web camera that I've had for a while, but just haven't used, so I figured I would try it out and see how it worked, seems to take decent pic's and still learning it, as you can see I cut stuff off, cause it doesn't show you the picture like a regular digital camera, but it still is cool! And the Easter eggs are cool, cause there was this two in one kit that had the regular tablet colors you drop in warm water, but it also had some liquid paint that you could do speckled eggs and it was a much darker dye, that's how some of the eggs got so dark. It also came with the silly face stickers and bunch of other little things, it was a cool kit and Amy and I had lots of fun dying the eggs. My fingers are still dyed from it, but it's all good, had fun! Easter was good, I hid the eggs for Amy to find, she would shake every egg she found, making sure there was candy inside, haha, what a cutie! I can't believe she is going to be turning 16 years old in July, that is crazy, she has grown up so fast! She's enjoying her Spring break this week, no school, she was excited about that, stay sleeping, stay in bed, stay dreaming, as she would say, hehe! I bet she will spend her break watching movies all day and playing with her dogs, she loves doing that! On Saturday, I went to my friend Jen's wedding and reception, it was lovely and she was so beautiful and happy, it was good seeing her and some old friends, it was fun catching up! So I had a great weekend and lots of fun, yeah! The weather has been so nice here in Cali, warm and sunny, with the occasional windy and rainy days! This upcoming weekend, I'm going to Utah for the week, yeah! A friend is driving out there and wanted some one to come along for the ride and help drive, so I said I would go, it should be fun and I'll get to see family out there, yeah! Well, gotta get going, but hopefully I can post some more pic's when I'm back from Utah. Hope all is going well with everyone, have a great day and take care! :)

Amy & I being silly, hehe! :)

Here's a couple pic's that Amy and I took with my phone, we were hanging outside on the swing and being silly. First one is the cute Amers and the second one is Amy and I making piggy noses, hehe! :)

It's been a while, time for an update! :)

As you can see, it has been a while since I've posted anything on my blog and thought that it's about time for an update. I kept telling myself that I would update later and kept procrastinating, something that I'm very good at, hehe. Well, I spent a few months out in Heber, Utah living with Anne, Ben and the kids, while I looked for a job and a place to live. It was nice getting to see them and am thankful for them for letting me stay there, but after I couldn't find a permant job, I found a substituting job, but didn't get to do it, cause they called the morning of when they needed someone and I already had plans or was watching the kids, so I couldn't do it. And the whole apartment thing was not fun either, cause when I thought that I found a place and was going to sign the lease, it didn't work out. But that probably is a good thing, cause I would have liked to have a job before I got locked into a contract, though some others thought I should have still found a place to live, even though I didn't have a job lined up. I miss not getting to see the kids, but it was the right thing for me to move back to Cali for now and try to figure some things out. I'm hoping to find a job soon, even if it has to be something like Subway for now, it's a job and will help me save up money and be able to get my own place and look for something better. Plus I might go back to Utah in a little bit, or stick around here, not completly sure yet, that's still up in the air for now. And I was thinking of possibly looking for jobs in the surrounding cities and also up in Sacramento, cause there's lots to do out there and lots more older single adults out there too. Life is going good for me, I'm happy and enjoying my time here in Cali and enjoying being closer to family! I'm also enjoying this lovely weather we've been having, in the 50's and 60's in the winter time and sunny, that's great! When I first moved from Michigan to Utah, I wasn't completly happy with the whole idea of being single again and having to do the whole dating thing over again, but as time goes by, I'm doing better and wanting to get out there and date again, even though it might take some pushing or some blind dates to start me off dating again, hehe. I know when the time is right, I'll get back into dating and find the right guy for me, someone that deserves me and makes me happy. So now, my days are filled with looking for jobs again and applying to them on the computer and hopefully finding something soon. And it's nice to get to sleep in again too, though I should get on a better sleeping schedule, so that I can be used to it, but I'm so much a night owl, that it's hard. And I've been hanging out with Amy and watching movies with her, which is fun if she is in a good mood and doesn't try telling me to go away, hehe. And I've been on the computer emailing and catching up with friends and family, which is nice. But I need to spend more of that time looking for a job, even though it's nice to catch up with people. And I've been applying to some places and trying to look up classifieds and jobs on the internet, but sometimes it just turns up stuff that they need someone that has a degree or just other random stuff. But I will keep looking, cause something will eventually come up, or I at least I hope so. Well, I'm tired and need to head off to bed now, but I will try to keep my blog updated and keep everyone posted on what's going on. Talk to you'll later and hope all is going well for everyone. Have a great day and take care and love you! :)

Life out in Utah! :)

Hey, it's been a while since I've made a new post and it's about time to do so. I made it safely to Utah, it was a very long and tiring drive and I'm glad to have it over with. And I'm so thankful that Issa was able to come along and help out with the drive, it was very helpful, even though I didn't sleep and was loaded up on energy drinks for the drive. It's nice to be here in Utah and close to family, it just feels like the right place and where I'm supposed to be. Sage, Cole, Gray, and Jade are all growing up so fast and are crazy kids and too cute! I'm glad that I get to see them more and live closer to them. I'm missing my sleeping in, cause at least one of them will come in and get me up, if not all, but once I get my own place, I wont have to worry about that. And I need to go to bed earlier, so hopefully getting woken up early will help me go to bed earlier, not happening yet, but maybe soon it will. I went and looked at an apartment today in Provo and really liked it. It's a private room with a full sized bed, desk, drawers, decent sized closet, it's own bathroom and vanity, shared shower, newer kitchen, stainless steel, balcony, storage, rec room, pool, spa, volleyball court, close to the mall, Walmart, stores, and most of the people that live there are an older group of people, so that's a good thing. Plus I know a few guys that live there and that are really cool and fun to hang out with. It seems like a cool place to live and I'm definitely looking into living there, it feels like a good place to possibly live. I've been keeping busy with applying to many types of jobs from places out on the mall, Provo school district, nanny positions, and just all over and have many other places to apply to. The job market here is so much better than the one in Michigan, and I don't think that I will have a problem finding a job here. And it seems like I wont have a problem finding a place to live either, there's so much out there and I already found a place that I really like. I had this stupid guy some how get my checking account number, log in name, password, pin number for Wells Fargo and pretty much emptied out my account and transferred it to his. I caught it that same night and it was still pending and called up the bank and it took a few days to call up many different places and get a fraud alert out there, change all my info, passwords, open a new checking account, get signed up with a few fraud alert companies, and visit the bank many times, I think that they might all know me there now, hehe, especially this really nice guy that helped out a lot and took care of a lot of things for me too. And today I went in and the money that was taken out was back in my account, so I had to transfer that to my new account and close out the other one. It was not a fun process and I'm still some what paranoid about it and running virus scans every day on my computer and checking out my account many different times a day to make sure everything is fine. Plus they have a watch over my accounts and have the fraud alert out there, so it shouldn't happen again and my stuff should be safe, hopefully so. They think that they got my info from a virus on my computer and maybe that's how it happened, but I think some guy was at the bank sitting right outside the glass office window thing and was watching me sign up and enter my pin number. Cause I never used my pin number online and didn't have it anywhere on my computer and the accounts were all new and the only time I used my pin number was when I was opening up an account. And as I walked out, there was a guy sitting there and I've sat in that same place and I'm sure you can see what's going on through the glass windows, so that's what I think happened, but the banker said that the guy said that some company was going to pay him and some how a virus and freak computer thing happened and transferred the money into his account, which sounds kind of iffy, but enough about that, I got my money back and what's done is done. It's starting to cool off some and get colder, not looking forward to that, I've been liking this sunny and warmer weather and don't want to start driving in the snow and ice, but I guess it's going to happen sooner or later, hopefully later though. Well, it's getting late and I need to head off to bed cause I'm sleepy, but I hope all is going well for everyone and talk to you later. Have a great weekend and take care! Love you guys and have a great Thanksgiving! :)
