It's been a while, time for an update! :)

As you can see, it has been a while since I've posted anything on my blog and thought that it's about time for an update. I kept telling myself that I would update later and kept procrastinating, something that I'm very good at, hehe. Well, I spent a few months out in Heber, Utah living with Anne, Ben and the kids, while I looked for a job and a place to live. It was nice getting to see them and am thankful for them for letting me stay there, but after I couldn't find a permant job, I found a substituting job, but didn't get to do it, cause they called the morning of when they needed someone and I already had plans or was watching the kids, so I couldn't do it. And the whole apartment thing was not fun either, cause when I thought that I found a place and was going to sign the lease, it didn't work out. But that probably is a good thing, cause I would have liked to have a job before I got locked into a contract, though some others thought I should have still found a place to live, even though I didn't have a job lined up. I miss not getting to see the kids, but it was the right thing for me to move back to Cali for now and try to figure some things out. I'm hoping to find a job soon, even if it has to be something like Subway for now, it's a job and will help me save up money and be able to get my own place and look for something better. Plus I might go back to Utah in a little bit, or stick around here, not completly sure yet, that's still up in the air for now. And I was thinking of possibly looking for jobs in the surrounding cities and also up in Sacramento, cause there's lots to do out there and lots more older single adults out there too. Life is going good for me, I'm happy and enjoying my time here in Cali and enjoying being closer to family! I'm also enjoying this lovely weather we've been having, in the 50's and 60's in the winter time and sunny, that's great! When I first moved from Michigan to Utah, I wasn't completly happy with the whole idea of being single again and having to do the whole dating thing over again, but as time goes by, I'm doing better and wanting to get out there and date again, even though it might take some pushing or some blind dates to start me off dating again, hehe. I know when the time is right, I'll get back into dating and find the right guy for me, someone that deserves me and makes me happy. So now, my days are filled with looking for jobs again and applying to them on the computer and hopefully finding something soon. And it's nice to get to sleep in again too, though I should get on a better sleeping schedule, so that I can be used to it, but I'm so much a night owl, that it's hard. And I've been hanging out with Amy and watching movies with her, which is fun if she is in a good mood and doesn't try telling me to go away, hehe. And I've been on the computer emailing and catching up with friends and family, which is nice. But I need to spend more of that time looking for a job, even though it's nice to catch up with people. And I've been applying to some places and trying to look up classifieds and jobs on the internet, but sometimes it just turns up stuff that they need someone that has a degree or just other random stuff. But I will keep looking, cause something will eventually come up, or I at least I hope so. Well, I'm tired and need to head off to bed now, but I will try to keep my blog updated and keep everyone posted on what's going on. Talk to you'll later and hope all is going well for everyone.
