Life out in Utah! :)

Hey, it's been a while since I've made a new post and it's about time to do so. I made it safely to Utah, it was a very long and tiring drive and I'm glad to have it over with. And I'm so thankful that Issa was able to come along and help out with the drive, it was very helpful, even though I didn't sleep and was loaded up on energy drinks for the drive. It's nice to be here in Utah and close to family, it just feels like the right place and where I'm supposed to be. Sage, Cole, Gray, and Jade are all growing up so fast and are crazy kids and too cute! I'm glad that I get to see them more and live closer to them. I'm missing my sleeping in, cause at least one of them will come in and get me up, if not all, but once I get my own place, I wont have to worry about that. And I need to go to bed earlier, so hopefully getting woken up early will help me go to bed earlier, not happening yet, but maybe soon it will. I went and looked at an apartment today in Provo and really liked it. It's a private room with a full sized bed, desk, drawers, decent sized closet, it's own bathroom and vanity, shared shower, newer kitchen, stainless steel, balcony, storage, rec room, pool, spa, volleyball court, close to the mall, Walmart, stores, and most of the people that live there are an older group of people, so that's a good thing. Plus I know a few guys that live there and that are really cool and fun to hang out with. It seems like a cool place to live and I'm definitely looking into living there, it feels like a good place to possibly live. I've been keeping busy with applying to many types of jobs from places out on the mall, Provo school district, nanny positions, and just all over and have many other places to apply to. The job market here is so much better than the one in Michigan, and I don't think that I will have a problem finding a job here. And it seems like I wont have a problem finding a place to live either, there's so much out there and I already found a place that I really like. I had this stupid guy some how get my checking account number, log in name, password, pin number for Wells Fargo and pretty much emptied out my account and transferred it to his. I caught it that same night and it was still pending and called up the bank and it took a few days to call up many different places and get a fraud alert out there, change all my info, passwords, open a new checking account, get signed up with a few fraud alert companies, and visit the bank many times, I think that they might all know me there now, hehe, especially this really nice guy that helped out a lot and took care of a lot of things for me too. And today I went in and the money that was taken out was back in my account, so I had to transfer that to my new account and close out the other one. It was not a fun process and I'm still some what paranoid about it and running virus scans every day on my computer and checking out my account many different times a day to make sure everything is fine. Plus they have a watch over my accounts and have the fraud alert out there, so it shouldn't happen again and my stuff should be safe, hopefully so. They think that they got my info from a virus on my computer and maybe that's how it happened, but I think some guy was at the bank sitting right outside the glass office window thing and was watching me sign up and enter my pin number. Cause I never used my pin number online and didn't have it anywhere on my computer and the accounts were all new and the only time I used my pin number was when I was opening up an account. And as I walked out, there was a guy sitting there and I've sat in that same place and I'm sure you can see what's going on through the glass windows, so that's what I think happened, but the banker said that the guy said that some company was going to pay him and some how a virus and freak computer thing happened and transferred the money into his account, which sounds kind of iffy, but enough about that, I got my money back and what's done is done. It's starting to cool off some and get colder, not looking forward to that, I've been liking this sunny and warmer weather and don't want to start driving in the snow and ice, but I guess it's going to happen sooner or later, hopefully later though. Well, it's getting late and I need to head off to bed cause I'm sleepy, but I hope all is going well for everyone and talk to you later. Have a great weekend and take care! Love you guys and have a great Thanksgiving! :)

Moving to Utah

Yep, I'm moving to Utah, so I'll be back on the west coast and closer to family soon, yeah! Issa and I take off for Utah on Nov. 7th, Friday and will drive for about 12 or 14 hours or until we are both tired and then stop somewhere and get a hotel for the night. And then the next day, Saturday, we will leave and get to Heber, Anne and Ben's house sometime that evening. Then Issa will fly back to Michigan on Monday. So we will be in Utah in about a week, yeah! I plan on looking for a place to live and a job out in Provo. I've already started looking and applying to a few places now, but once I get out there, I'll be pretty busy looking for something. I think that I will have a better chance of finding a job there in Utah, then I have been here, cause I'm sure there's more possibilities there. Plus this will be good for me to be back in Utah, close to friends and family. And it will be better for me to get back out there in the dating scene and move on with my life and meet a great guy that is deserving of me and treats me right. Now I really know what I'm looking for and what is important to make a relationship work, I've learned from my past relationship and I'm ready to move on and find the right guy. I still have my same phone number, I've already changed the phone over to me, but I might eventually change it to a Utah number once I'm all settled there and situated, I'll let you know if I do that. And you can still get a hold of me through my aol email, that's the one I use. And once I get an apartment, I'll email out my new address. I've had my car packed up for a while now and all my stuff out of my old apartment, I'm glad to have the packing all done with, it's not fun. And I gave a lot of stuff to Goodwill and threw out a lot too. My car is pretty packed and weighed down, and I wonder how it will do with gas with all that stuff in there, we will see, I guess. Not really looking forward to the drive, it's going to be long, but I'm glad that Issa will be there to help me with it and I'll be glad to get it over with and moved to Utah soon. Issa's been keeping me busy with going out to eat and to the movies, going to a baby shower, visiting friends, hanging out and watching movies and tv, and just keeping me busy doing whatever. I finally got around to doing laundry and it's nice to have clean clothes, I was starting to run out of stuff to wear and I'm glad that I'm done with the laundry for now. I have to take care of a few other things, like closing my bank accounts and shipping out a couple boxes, but I plan on doing that a couple days before I leave. What's every one's Halloween plans? I plan on hanging out with Issa, her husband Tony, and Jessica and watching Halloween movies and tv shows, like The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Hocus Pocus, Halloween Town movies, and many others. It should be fun hanging out with friends and watching that stuff and eating junk food, yeah! Well, it's late and I'm super tired and need to be heading off to bed, but I hope all is going well for everyone and I'll talk to you later. Have a great weekend and take care! Happy Halloween! Love you guys! :)

News

Hey everyone, how's it going? I'm doing better with each day. Some of you already have heard and some might not have, but Shayne and I broke up the other day. It came out of no where and wasn't expecting it at all, I was thinking things were going fine and we were moving to Grand Rapids, but I'm not and he still is. We have to be moved out of the apartment by the end of the month, so I'm staying with Issa and Tony for now and going over there and going through my stuff and trying to get it situated and packed up and over to Issa's for now. My plan for right now is to stay here for about a month and finish collecting my unemployment and then take off back to Utah. I would like to leave Michigan before the weather gets bad, so I was thinking by the middle of next month and before all the holidays. Anne and Ben, I was hoping to possibly stay with you guys for a little bit and help out with the kids and try to find a place to live and a job out there, would that be something that I might be able to do? As of now I still have the same cell phone number, but plan on changing it cause I'm on Shayne's plan and need to change that, so I'll let you all know when that happens and my main email that I use is the aol one, so you can get ahold of me from that. Everyone is probably wondering what happened and I'm still confused about his explanation, he didn't make it that clear to me, but I'll try to explain what I got from it. The other morning he just broke up with me and said that he still loved me and cared for me, but that it wasn't going to work out. Cause he didn't think that I was motivated enough and not have the same goals as he does and was worried that I didn't want to work and that I wasn't trying hard enough to find a job, which is all a bunch of BS, cause I gave up a lot of things and put some of my own goals on hold to be in this relationship and follow with some of his goals. He didn't even try to talk to me about any of this till after he broke up with me and didn't even want to try to work it out, even with all the time that we put into the relationship, he admited that he was wrong on not talking to me about this before it got this far, but didn't try to do anything after. I was pretty sad and bummed about it at first and also pretty mad at him and hurt, but I can't change what happened and change his mind. I know he will probably be thinking to himself how stupid he was for all this down the road, and hopefully he does, cause I don't deserve that and his BS excuse for breaking up with me after so long. But Issa's husband thinks he might have fallen out of love with me and couldn't just say that for some reason, I guess I wont really know. His family is actually pretty shocked about it too and didn't see it coming, his sister took it really bad and told me that we could still hang out and talk. I'm just glad and thankful that I have Issa here and that her and her husband are nice enough to let me stay here with them for now. I'm gradually feeling better and trying to move on with life, cause I know that there is someone out there for me and I will find him when the time is right. I'm thankful for great friends and family and their encouraging words these past couple days, I'm truely thankful and love you all! I'm glad to be moving back to the west coast and closer to my family and friends. I will miss my friends dearly here, but I can always come back and visit. Well, it's late here and I really need to get to bed, so that I can get up at a decent time and go over and go through some stuff and pack it up. But I'll talk to you all later and hope all is going well for everyone. Have a great day and take care! Love you guys, Alli

Moving

Well, Shayne got a new job out in Grand Rapids, so we are moving there in about three weeks, yeah! :) Grand Rapids is like an hour and a half from Corunna/Owosso area were we live now and were most of his family and our friends live. So we will still live close enough to come and visit on the weekends and see everyone, which is great. Plus it wont be that bad of a drive to move there and the city is much bigger and much more to do there. So I'll have a better chance at finding a job there, which is a good thing. Shayne heard about this job from a friend that used to have his current job as the general manager at Subway and she helped him get the job, so that's cool. He will be working for Subway Corporate going around to different Subways and evaluating them and making sure they are up to standards with stuff and pass the requirements that they need to. So it will be a lot better for him and he's way excited about the job and I'm happy about it too. It will be less stressful for him too, he doesn't have to manage four different Subways anymore and do all that work and not get phone calls all day from different stores and employees and he will actually get time off and not have to work every day and I will probably get to see him more, yeah. With the new job he gets a new company car that they pay for everything on, except for your gas on personal use, gets better benefits, 401k, weekends and holidays off, better schedule, more money, easier to take time off, has vacation days and sick days, and in the summer they get half day Fridays, so it's a lot better of an opportunity for him and me. He gave his two weeks notice today and his boss took it better than he thought he would, but is going to be super stressed out trying to find his replacement and cover his job, but that happens, and he was understanding of the situation. Shayne had his interview on Monday, yesterday, and got the call the same day saying that he got the job, so that was awesome and things just went so fast for him and getting the job. Now we just need to find an apartment in the next couple weeks and start packing, it's going to be crazy busy, but we will have lots of help with the moving, so that will be good. I'm not looking forward to the packing, but in the end it will be a good move for us. And with all that happening, Shayne's transmission on his car went out and it cost way more than what the car is worth, so he's just going to sell it for parts and use his Dad's truck for a little while till he gets the new company car. So I took my car into the mechanic to get some stuff fixed on my car, so that we had a car to drive around and get it all ready for the cold and winter. It was doing this crazy shaking while you drove it and luckily it wasn't anything to major, just a bad tire in the back, so I have to replace that and get two new tires put on the front and get the two new tires that I already have on the front moved to the back. Plus it needed a tune up and he said that it looked like it hasn't had one in a very long time and the parts all looked like the original ones from the dealership, not good. Plus they are going to do an alignment too, put new brakes and drums on the front, and do an oil change. So there's lots of working getting put into that car and it will be running much better and like new once it's done, yeah! I probably will get it back either Wednesday or Thursday, so that's good and he's a really good mechanic and has done work on my other car and on Issa's and is pretty reasonably priced and a nice guy, so that's always good. Well, I better get going and start on dinner and take care of a few other things before Shayne gets home, but I hope all is going well for everyone. Have a great day and take care! Love you all and I'll keep you guys updated on the move and how everything is going. Talk to ya later. :)

Updates

Not much new has been going on here, but I think it's time for an update anyways. I'm sick with a cold and not feeling that great, but there's not much to do, but take some cold medicine and rest it out and with time it will go away and I'll hopefully feel better soon. Plus my eye is all better, I had a spider bite above it and it swelled up and made my eye all puffy and sore, but it's all better, so that's good. I've started watching Shayne's niece and nephew again, they call me Aunt Alli, it's cute and they are fun. Olivia is 5 years old and Xavier is a little over 8 months old. Olivia is in kindergarten and loving it and the days that I watch them, I go and pick her up from school. And Xavier is such a cutie and wanting to stand and walk already. And I'm watching two other kids too when I don't watch Olivia and Xavier, I meet them through Shayne's sister Sarah. Claire is 5 years old as well and in the same kindergarten class as Olivia and her brother Christopher is 2 years old. So I've been keeping busy with watching the kids and still looking for a job that gives me more hours and pay, so hopefully something comes along soon. Well, I better get going, cause I need to get ready to go over to Issa's house, we are hanging out there tonight and watching a movie. I'll talk to you all later and hope all is going well for everyone. Have a great weekend and take care! Love you! :)

Sunburns hurt

Alli and I went to the Detroit Tigers game today. About a half hour after we left I remembered what we forgot......the sunblock!!! After three plus hours in 90 degree heat this is what we looked like. All I can say is OUCH! And that is why you wear sunscreen.
