Utah trip pic's- Aug. 2008

Just a little update

It was great getting to see everyone in Utah and spending time with family and having fun, I'm glad that I came out! I thought I took more pic's, but I was looking through them and noticed that I didn't take as much as I would have liked, but I guess next time I'll have to do that, though I did get some good ones and and some cute ones too. I'll have to post those pic's soon, it's been a busy week and I haven't had the chance to post them yet. Shayne's Grandpa passed away, so we've been busy with the visiting of lots of family and friends and the funeral. The funeral was today, and it was a long Catholic funeral, but it was really nice. And we got to see lots of his family and friends that we haven't seen in a long time, so that was nice, even under the circumstances. It was difficult watching someone you love and his family go through that and be sad, I'm glad I was able to be there for him and his family and comfort them as much as I could. It's so nice to have his family treat me like I'm one of their own family members, especially since I live so far away from my own family and don't get to see them as much, it's always nice to have that love of family around and helps me not be so home sick and miss all you guys. As it usually seems to do, it rained on and off at the funeral, but it wasn't that bad. Well, I'm super tired and need to get to sleep soon, but I'll write more later and post my Utah trip pic's too. I have a birthday party to go to for Shayne's niece Olivia on Saturday, she's 5 years old, I can't believe how fast they grow up. It should be fun, I think its a Hello Kitty birthday party. And possibly afterward we might go to his cousin's house for a get together and hang out. Well, I hope all is going well with everyone and I'll talk to you later. I'm coming to Utah! :)

Hey everyone, thought I would let you know that I bought a plane ticket to Utah, in case you didn't get my messages or the itinerary that I sent out to everyone. I'm going to be there from July 31st to August 15th, so about two weeks to hang out and see everyone and have some fun. Anne or Ashley, hopefully one of you can pick me up in SLC, I'll give you guys a call and figure out the details. Xavier & Olivia

Shayne's cute little niece and nephew, Xavier is 6 months old and Olivia is almost 5 years old.

A quick update! :)

Hey everyone, things are going great here in Michigan and the weather is starting to get nicer. Shayne and I are doing great as well! Tonight we are going to Issa's and Tony's house for game night with some other friends, so that should be fun. We are going to play bingo and exchange white elephant gifts, yeah, sounds like fun, I'll have to let you know how it goes. Shayne has just been keeping busy with working and hanging out. I'm still looking for a job, but nothings really come up yet, so I'll just keep looking. I might watch Shayne's niece and nephew once the school year starts back up, I did that last time and that was fun and kept me pretty busy, we will see what happens. Other than that, I've just been keeping busy with hanging out around the apartment, cleaning, going out with friends, and sleeping in. :) I'm thinking of going out to Utah to visit, I'm just wondering when a good time is to go and when everyone would be there. Anne, when is Sage getting baptized? I might try to go out then if people will be around and I have to check on plane ticket prices, cause hopefully I can get a good deal. I just hope it's not going to fall on the weekend I'm going to the Oakland A's game against the Tigers, cause we already got the tickets for that and it's kind of tradition each year to go to the baseball game when Oakland is in town. Even if it was that weekend, I could still come to visit that following Monday or Tuesday and stay a week.
