V- Veggies or Fruit: Fruit for sure, there's only a couple of veggies that I will eat, but I love fruit, especially strawberries and bananas!

W- Worst Habit: Bitting my nails, I keep trying to stop, but it's so hard and I have been bitting them since I was a little kid. I also tend to procrastinate on things. And I have the bad habit of cracking my knuckles and neck, so when I'm old, I wouldn't be surprised if I have arthritis.

X- X-Rays or Ultrasounds: Both are fine I guess, I don't have much of a preference on either, if I need one or the other, then I'll get it.

What's been going on lately

Hey, things are going good here, I'm just hanging out and looking for jobs, while Shayne is at work. Shayne and I are feeling a lot better and our colds/sinus infections have finally gone away. And we are just a little stuffed up and have some drainage, but not as bad as before, so I'm glad about that and I hope to stay healthier for a while now. I signed up for unemployment and went to the service office to get my paperwork verified and updated the other day, so it's on the way to getting me paid my unemployment. I just have to call in every two weeks to check in and update info and give them my job search stuff and where I've applied, before they send out the check. So hopefully they think I qualify for unemployment, I guess I just have to wait and see, I'm sure I do though. I've got my resume updated and out on some job web sites, so I hope all goes well and it helps me on my job search. Issa and her husband Tony have started a game night each month, and we went to the first one last Saturday with Tony's brother, sister, and there husbands and wifes, and had a good time. We played this game called Quelf, which was the first time I've ever heard of or played, but it was fun and we got to hang out with a lot of other couples and have fun and eat and play the game. I look forward to the next one, and I might host a couple of them here at my place possibly in the near future. Other than that, I've just been hanging out and not doing much. Well, gotta go and find something to make for dinner and set up my tivo to record American Idol, but I'll talk to ya'll later and hope to hear from everyone soon. Have a great day and take care! Hey everyone, I figured it's about time for an update and a new post, even though there's not really anything going on. Shayne and I are both sick, I have a cold that isn't too bad right now, but Shayne has a sinus infection and maybe something else and is a lot sicker than me. I've been able to relax and rest lately, so that's probably why my cold isn't worse. I'm not working at Subway anymore, the owner said it wasn't working out and had to let me go. So lately while relaxing and resting, I've been job searching too. And with the job market in Michigan so bad and it being winter and not many places hiring, it's been hard to find a place to work. But I'm not giving up hope, I'm applying everywhere from Quizno's to any day care or office work or customer service stuff I can find. So hopefully I find something soon, I have my tax refund and savings to last me a few months if needed. And Shayne was telling me to file for unemployment, which will help out a little bit too. So I guess that's the only news that I can think of that is going on here. Besides it being so cold and snowy and icy. Shayne and I are still planning on coming out in April to see everyone, so I'm excited about that and being able to show him around. We plan on going to Yosemite while we are out there and probably to San Francisco too, so that should be fun. And we could go up in a couple cars if everyone wants to go to Yosemite, that might be fun to do. Well, I better get back to working on some job applications and my resume, but I'll talk to you'll later and hope to hear from everyone soon. Have a great day and take care! Hey, I'm still alive out here, just not much going on. Just working and hanging out most of the time. I'll have to post some more pic's soon and find something exciting to do, so that I can post about it, hehe. Well, I'm doing good and Shayne is doing good, we both can't get rid of our colds/ sinus infections/ coughing yet, had them for almost a month now. Trip to Cali

Hey, just wanted to let ya'll know that Shayne and I have bought the plane tickets for our trip out to Cali. We will be there from April 9th to April 16th. Baby Xavier, Shayne's nephew. His sister, Sarah had him on Jan. 7th around 5pm. He weighed 6lbs 5oz and was 19 inches long. He's a cutie, and I got to hold him right after he was born. Well, talk to ya'll later and have a goodnight! Take care and hope all is well with everyone! Love ya!

Christmas tree

Here's our Christmas tree, it turned out really pretty, most of it was gold and red ornaments. With some special ones like ducks on it too. Christmas was good, spent it with Shayne and his family and had a good time. We are planning a trip out to Cali in April, cause Ash said she had Spring Break then, so we want to know who will be around or try to plan it out to have everyone there when we are there. Anne, when are you planning on going out? We plan on going out on the 12th or 13th or whatever day Wed. happens to fall on and stay till the following Wed. So let me know if you will be out there then.

More snow pic's

Here's some more pic's of the crazy snow storms we keep getting. It's so pretty, too bad it has warmed up and melted most of the snow away and made it all muddy and yucky out. Now we are getting thunderstorms and in a couple days, it's supposed to snow again. This weather is just crazy. I've got a cold and I've lost my voice, but other than that, I'm doing fine. I hope I get my voice back soon, cause it's hard to work or talk to anyone with no voice.

<-- This is after getting 6 to 8 inches of snow in the parking lot of Subway after the plow trucks were done. Below is the house were I live in the upstairs after the snow storm, it looks so pretty.































These other pictures are after the snow storm too of the house and the yard with all the snow. It looks pretty, but most of it has already melted away cause it's warmed up some, so it's slushy and muddy out now.
